“Authorities of Kyrgyzstan and clergy have to use the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims to stabilize the situation in the south of the republic,” the head of Reasonable Decisions analytical center Esen Usubaliyev told 24.kg news agency.

He said that definite forces would like to involve Islamic military grouping in the ethnic conflict in the south and supposedly they will try to do it.

“But I would like to believe that Ramadan will serve as reconciliation stimulus. Elders and representatives of Muslim confessions have to conduct an outreach among the population and especially youth explaining the essence of Ramadan,” Esen Usubaliyev noted.
